JAGA Students Make Their Mark at the JAT & JGS First Stage Tour

With the school year winding down, JAGA's student-athletes gave everyone something to talk about.

Across the Junior Asian Tour opener and the JGS First Stage Tour at Rayong Green Valley Country Club, JAGA students turned in one of the program's strongest collective performances in recent memory — multiple podium finishes across divisions, and a result that sends this group into the end of the year with real momentum.

In the Open and Class A Boys division, Philippines' Javier Bautista claimed the Class B Boys title outright. Indonesia's Jayawardana Dornan followed with a composed final-round 2-under-par 70 to finish runner-up in the Open and Class A division, while Vietnam's Do Duong Gia Minh matched that score to claim third. Lynn Choi and Douyun Kim each earned fourth-place finishes in their respective categories, and Lubanzi Tselane posted a sixth-place result that is entirely consistent with the trajectory everyone at JAGA has seen from him. TJ Fisher rounded out the JAGA contingent in the boys' draw with an eighth-place finish.

At the Junior Golf Series First Stage Tour, the results were equally strong. Ploy claimed first place in her division, while Tyler Saslow finished third. Also catching the eye was Victor Elisson, a young talent who finished third in his division and one the JAGA community will be watching closely in the years ahead.

None of this happens by accident. It happens because of The JAGA-Way — the structured approach to golf, academics, character, and physical and mental development that every JAGA student commits to from day one. When students from the Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, South Africa, and beyond can all perform at this level on the same stage, it is a reflection of something the whole program can take pride in.

All results are officially recorded on the Junior Golf Scoreboard and contribute to the World Amateur Golf Ranking, giving JAGA students meaningful exposure as they close out a strong year.

JAGA Locks Out the Podium at the US Kids Thailand Championship

When the final scores were posted at the US Kids Thailand Championship, the top three spots in the Boys 15-18 division all belonged to JAGA.

Jayawardana Dornan, Tantikorn Klinpeng, and Lubanzi Tselane finished 1st, 2nd, and 3rd respectively — a podium sweep that speaks to the depth and quality of training at JAGA Thailand.

It was Jayawardana who set the pace, closing the tournament with a stunning final round of 66 to finish at -11 overall. The performance was a statement — not just in the context of this tournament, but as a marker of where Jayawardana's game is heading.

The race to the top, however, was anything but straightforward. Tantikorn Klinpeng pushed Jayawardana all the way, the two neck and neck heading into the final day. Tantikorn's -8 finish is a result he can be proud of — a performance that showed exactly the kind of competitive character JAGA looks to develop in every student-athlete.

Completing the podium was Lubanzi Tselane, finishing at -5. For Lubanzi, it is another result that adds to a growing record of performance on the international junior circuit.

JAGA Student Jay Handa Receives Grant to Build AI-Powered Swing Analysis Platform

Jay Handa has received a grant to develop SMAC, an AI-powered swing analysis platform designed to help golf coaches compare player swings against elite reference models. The platform has the potential to change the way coaches identify technical gaps and track player development over time, bringing a level of analysis to junior golf that has traditionally been reserved for the professional game.

Building a technology platform from the ground up is no small undertaking, and securing the funding to do so is a significant achievement. JAGA is proud to celebrate Jay and what he is building — the drive to innovate and find new ways to improve the game is exactly the kind of ambition we look to develop in every student. We will be watching SMAC's journey closely.

JAGA Takes Four Categories at the Greens to Glory Tournament

At the Greens to Glory Tournament in India, JAGA swept four categories in a performance that announced the program's arrival on the Indian junior golf circuit. Hridaan Saraogi claimed the B Category and Devyani Dhull the E Category — composed, confident performances from two students who are growing into consistent competitors on the circuit.

The day's most dramatic moments came in the playoffs, where Aahana Kashyap and Drona Singh Dhull both found themselves in sudden death and both delivered. Aahana held her nerve to win the A Category, while Drona went one step further — claiming the C Category on the 4th playoff hole in what was the defining moment of the tournament. Winning in a playoff is a different test entirely, one that demands composure when the pressure is at its highest, and both students passed without hesitation.

JAGA Alumni Making Their Mark at the College Level

The results coming in from the college circuit this season are a reflection of what JAGA students are capable of when they step into the next chapter of their athletic careers.

Milan Abrieu, representing Odessa College, won the TankLogix & Tall City Exploration Collegiate to become the first JAGA alumnus to win a college golf tournament. It is a milestone worth celebrating — not just for Milan personally, but for what it represents for the program as a whole. Milan's win also played a part in helping Odessa hold on to the number one ranked spot in JUCO, a testament to the level of competition he is thriving in. For those who followed Milan's journey through JAGA in Canada, this result comes as no surprise.

Casey Kang is making her presence felt at Kansas State University, where she has posted back-to-back strong performances on some of college golf's biggest stages. A -5 opening round at the Yale Invitational West was followed by a -2 at the MountainView Collegiate — results that are helping Kansas State hold a top 35 national ranking. Casey joined JAGA as a grade 11 student, and watching her compete and contribute at this level is exactly the outcome we work toward with every student-athlete who comes through our doors.

NPU Named One of the Top 10 Boarding Schools by Education Insider

Northern Pre-University has been named one of the top 10 boarding schools in the world by Education Insider, and it is recognition that is well deserved. Having operated for 12 years with academies spanning multiple countries and continents, NPU has built a reputation as one of the leading academic institutions for student-athletes across a wide range of sports.

For JAGA, this recognition matters. NPU is the academic backbone that makes our global campus model possible. Their education platform is the reason we are able to operate across the world and deliver the kind of holistic student-athlete development that defines The JAGA-Way. While NPU and JAGA are separate organizations, our working relationship is close, and their success is something we take genuine pride in.

NPU's reach is extensive. In Canada alone, they operate a large number of ice hockey and soccer academies, and their partnership with the NBA has extended their basketball programming across North America. Their academic solutions also support players competing at the highest levels of junior hockey, including the QMJHL and USPHL — a clear indication of the standard they hold themselves to when it comes to delivering education alongside elite sport.

Congratulations to everyone at NPU on this well-earned recognition.
